RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the implementation of a product release in a market. - Researches and monitors competitor offerings and industry trends to identify gaps or limitations in current benefit designs. - Provides recommendations for implementing benefits strategy and making benefit modification recommendations. - Interfaces with the existing product teams to ensure Individual & Small Group (ISG) benefit plans implementation success. - Identifies potential issues and roadblocks to implementation from a benefits/product perspective early in the plan development process. - Oversees the maintenance of existing plans to ensure they remain compliant and are updated via the benefit versioning cycle. - Works with matrix partners/organizations such as Service Operations, Medical Management, Sales, Pricing, Legal, Compliance and Product Managers to resolve any issues/questions on plan provisions. - Works with Marketing and the Managed Care Fulfillment Unit to create broker/member benefit summaries and Benefits At a Glance Brochures. - Ensure effective and positive relationships across the team and matrix partners - Partners with Actuarial and Executive team to review viability of current plan offerings.
