Responsibilities:
·Monitor the adequacy of claims reserves and overall profitability of company subsidiaries.
·Assist in the booking of claims reserves for some of the subsidiaries quarterly financial reporting.
·Price reinsurance arrangements for Group Re business.
·Prepare appointed actuary reports for Asia operations and Canadian branch of Insurance Company.
·Participate in the production of the annual report.
·Assist in valuation of potential company acquisitions.
Qualifications
·5 to 10 years actuarial experience, preferably in financial reporting and reserving
·ACAS to newly qualified FCAS, up to two years post fellowship
·Strong technical experience
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
·Business Sense
·Interpersonal, management and presentation skills
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·Ability to adapt and meet deadlines
