| the bush administration is doing a fabulous job! yeah right. making anyone who doesn't agree with their anti-ballistic missle project an enemy. bush has to realize, by now, that the war on iraq was not just. what went from a war on terror to a war to find freedom. what's next? bush says that the terrorists are bad, but the truth is- bush is the terrorist.

| those are very strong opinions. but it isn't official as to why rice has cancelled her visit. your speculations may be true, but it's all part of the political policies that are in place. after all, the canadians are weaker than the americans.

| I am a Canadian with very strong opinion. I am a man that beleives this country must not let the United States of Texas bully us and overshadow us with theire overwhelming military power and economic growth. We must stand up, or sit down but dont let the sit down ontop of us. OK fellows. see you all. taataa.eh..I must resort to this very contraversial opinion. The president is a Bush (George) and the vice president is a Dick (Cheney) so we are going to get a whole lot of plucking!!

| Ray, leading newspaper also speculated/reported that because Canada pull out out of the missile program that would "protect" us (last i heard all trials have failed so i dont know how its going to protect us if the darn missile cant hit a dummy enemy warhead). Frank, unless Canada stop relying on the US for trade and economic reasons, we have to "obey" what big brother bush has to say. We can stop relying on the US for trade by doing what everyone wants to do --Go Trade with China -- until then, everything we do or say that US is not happy about we will get a lot of repercussion from the US as Ms. Rice has demonstrated. |

| Hey the person that just replied before me. Us as Canadians should seriously get independant in terms of economy. We have to seperate from them. The US is a growing colonial power that will soon capture the whole world. Maybe if North Korea starts a fight with them we can secretly help them. Too bad Russia had to collapse. If they didn't, they would have the capability of destroying the US. It's ok, the US got what they wanted by destroying Russia. And who did they train very nicely to get that done, the deadliest terrorist the US is searching for ( quite a long time now) Osama Bin NOt Founden. OK thats it for now. BYe

| Frank, in todays economic system, no country, no matter how great they are can be independent...unless you want to break up the entire economic structure and recreate a new one then i dont think your idea about Canada being independent economically could be done. War with N. Korea? not possible. the US has already committed itself to Afganistan bombing rocks and Iraq where they are having a second Vietnam...they dont have the resource to commit another war. There is no way Canada will or can help N. Korea. Imagine the ramification if that was ever found out. and how will Canada help N. Korea? send them our powerful Sea King and hope the N. Koreans will use it in suicide attacks??? |
