RESPONSIBILITIES
- Defining the scope, formulating the approach for consulting engagements
- Participating in large consulting projects such as: mergers & acquisitions, benefit strategy and plan design, executive benefits and the valuation and financial management of pension plans.
- Interacting with clients on a daily basis and making in-person presentations
- Supervising and reviewing the work completed by actuarial associates
- Working with other lines of business (such as Administration Solutions and Health & Welfare) to coordinate the provision of services to your clients
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 or more years of retirement consulting
- A.SA or AJAJ qualification would be considered
- Retirement plan valuations (funding and accounting)
- Plan administration and design
- Post-retirement benefit valuations
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of quickly building credibility and gaining the confidence of individuals at all levels, both externally and internally
- Excellent communication skills required in verbal and written
